Innkeepers Mark & Christine Joyce have lived in the Florida area
for the past twelve years. They spent much of their life together on
the 5 star Cruise Ship: 
The Queens
Elizabeth 2,” owned by the Cunard Company.
Mark was the Musical Director, part of the Hotel department and
Christine his wife, an entertainer, singing and dancing her way around
the World with her own shows.
Both have had the pleasure of working for the British Royal Family.
Mark has worked with top entertainers from Tony Bennett to Regis
Philbin, Debbie Reynolds to Lucie Arnaz, The Three degrees to Neil
Sedaka and many more.
Both were brought up in the hospitality world,
Mark’s parents have run Hotels in England much of their lives and
Christine has owned her own Convenience stores on the South coast of
England, so, as you read on, I’m sure you have realized that both are
from Great Britain.
They decided to make Florida their home after
traveling around the World many times, they recently lived on the West
Coast of Florida but the opportunity to purchase the Dickens Inn came
about and they jumped at the chance to own and operate one of the
oldest Inn’s in Florida, dating back to 1860.
Christine’s attention to detail is shown off
in the decor of the Inn and Mark looks after the food operation. They
also have family members, you maybe lucky to meet their two Soft Coated
Wheaton Terriers, Bucky & Tiny.
Dickens Inn is the place to experience a Florida Bed & Breakfast at
